Big Ass Fans believes it is the responsibility of every company and individual to make an effort to be a good steward of the earth; to leave it no worse than we found it. Adopting sustainable practices is not about large-scale efforts, but instead small, easily adoptable adjustments to everyday actions. Let’s face it, not everyone can buy a hybrid and install a wind turbines and solar panels on their house. Small changes such as separating your recyclable waste, collecting rainwater, or consolidating trips to avoid wasteful driving can provide an easy transition to a green way of life.

We adhered to this belief when we constructed our new test facility. To recognize our sustainable efforts in the construction and occupation of our new building the  USGBC (United State Green Building Council) awarded this facility with LEED Gold certification at the most recent Green Scene event in Lexington, Ky.
