Big Ass Fans Giving Program
The Big Ass Fan Company believes that we can make the greatest impact in our communities by supporting organizations that are important to our customers and employees. Our community endeavors are visible through contributions of financial, product and volunteer support to non-profit organizations. We employ the same commitment to excellence in our community involvement as we do to our everyday business practices. Due to the volume of requests we receive we are simply not able to respond to each one, even though each might have merit. An employee committee evaluates all requests based on specific guidelines we have established and decides on behalf of the company how our charitable giving budget is to be allocated. The following donation guidelines have been developed to create fairness and consistency to all organizations that request support from Big Ass Fans. Please be prepared with the following when applying for funding or in-kind donations. Incomplete applications will not be processed.
- Name, address, phone, email of organization and name of primary contact.
- 501 (C)(3) Tax ID number of prospective organization.
- Programs purpose and benefits to target audience – briefly identify the programs goals and benefits.
- Date donation is needed
- Get creative for the cause
- As you could have guessed, we like to lend a hand to unique and fun causes. If you want to stand out from the crowd, we invite you to entertain us. Send us a story, poem, song, video, anything related to your cause that will get our attention. If you’re clever, funny or heartfelt enough we might sling some cheddar, or some fans, your way. Email your creations to giving@bigassfans.com (5mb limit). If you want to submit a video post it to YouTube and send us a link. Good luck, and be creative!
Big Ass Fans Giving Program does not contribute funding or in-kind donations to:
- Political Causes, candidates, organizations or campaigns
- Individuals or families (for scholarships, stipends, fellowships, etc.)
- Resale projects
- Pageants
- Program advertising or marketing venues
- For profit corporate functions
- Organizations operating out of private homes
Please Note:
- Organizations can receive only one donation per calendar year.
- All donation requests must be received at least 60 days prior to when the donation is needed.
- Big Ass Fans does not accept solicitations outside of the website submission process.
- Please be patient. Big Ass Fans reviews submission at the end of each month. Each organization will be informed of our decision via email. Due to the volume of requests received, Big Ass Fans asks that email or telephone inquiries regarding the status of your request not be made.
