In this day and age where the workplace environment must be maintained as nuetral or perhaps as professional as possible, I find great difficulty in understanding why you had to name your product " Big A_ _ Fans". Here in California, I would think your state is the same based on my training, it is imperative to keep profane or objectionable language out of the workplace if at all possible and it seems you don't care about that or who might be subjected to it. This may seem petty to you but for me it is not. It is part of my job to care about what comes into my company. I find this even degrading to whomever promotes this product. The "Fridge", in my opinion, looks mighty silly being your spokesman. I certainly hope he, nor you for that matter, just think it's just a funny name. It's not! But it's not the product mind you, but the name. I find it offensive... in the workplace. That is my only concern and I wish you had the integrity and decency to change the name. Do you?
"We're "big fans" of your marketing program here at our company. You guys are great - keep up the good work!"
Actually, I heard about you from seeing your "ad" on your building on Winchester Rd. in Lexington, KY. I'm 55, an engineer, and absolutely LOVE your marketing. Anyone who gives you a thumbs down is missing out on something; probably a sense of humor. I haven't a clue who your competitors are...oh wait, I guess that's the whole idea! Go for it! If your marketing strategy causes you problems, then it is we who have the problem, not you. Best of luck with your business and your marketing plan. It rocks!
"I just received your card in Industrial Product Bulletin. With all due respect your logo and name are very vulgar. I tossed your card in the trash. I am also going to have Industrial Product Bulletin stop sending me cards because they are not any better. Allowing your logo to be placed on the address card. Why do people need to be this way. I know you see it as a harmless joke but our society is getting more vulgar each day and I am doing what I can to stop it. You and your company will be in my prayers".
Your fans look like they would do a good job, but I wouldn't buy them any quicker that I would "Hellova Good Dip." If you can't find a decent name for your product you have a problem. I don't think I'd care to tell visitors the name of our fans if we had them in our barn. You sell an honorable product -- give it a respectable name. "Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks." Matthew 12:34 & Luke 6:45.
