Big Ass Fans

Employees of Big Ass Fans are doing their part to help some of Lexington’s less fortunate families. New, unwrapped toys and monetary donations were collected by Big Ass Fans employees as part of the 78th annual Lexington Firefighter Toy Drive.

Big Ass Fans President and Owner, Carey Smith, matched the employee monetary contributions this year for a total of $2100.00. With the additional contributions, new toys were purchased for the cause. All of the toys were loaded into a fire truck and transported to 2051 Richmond Road for the toy drive.

Employees will also be volunteering for the drive by helping distribute the toys to the families in need this holiday season on December 19, 2009 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. This is the third year Big Ass Fans has been the t-shirt sponsor and participated in the drive.
